Turns out the Jiggaman is not immune from the baby mama saga that often plagues music stars. A young Trinidadian model known as Shenelle Scott claims to have a secret love child for Jay-Z. The model, who met Jay at the 2000 video shoot for "Big Pimpin'," posted photos of lil' Jay-Z on her site but later removed them. According to the grapevine, she was allegedly paid $1 million to keep Hov's name off their son's birth certificate. Why she's now decided to go public is anyone's guess.
In an interview with The Trinidad Guardian, Shenelle admitted that she was previously in a relationship with an unnamed rapper.
I also find it interesting that Jay-Z has not made any attempt to either acknowledge or deny the claims.

I thought that Jay-z was one of the few rappers not to have a baby mama. But he was in a relationship with Chanell and not a one night stand. I hope Beyonce will accept her first stepchild like her own. And I hope Chanells reason for coming out is at the childs best interest.(or is her million dollars finished).
He hardly ever comes out and clears up rumors. Soo, many he probably just “brushes it off” haha I don’t buy this simply because he’s someone who grew up without a father (and talks about the pain of that)and seems to really wants kids now. Who knows if it’s true or not he hasn’t came to claim the child is his. He’s been silent about this matter. And I wonder what Ms B. has to say about it. He seems so private but this is so major!!

People make some bad choices in life but I do hope that all parties involved are mature enough to put this child first. If the child is Jay-Z then he needs to man up, If Beyonce loves her man than she must be willing to except the child or step off and Shenelle must think only of her child and do what is right and best for him. Don’t allow the dollar sign to guide your choices but your love for your son. No amount of money should be provided to keep a child from knowing his identity that is just wrong.

Sometimes we ask for “riches” but I’m glad that I don’t have to live with all this mess that money gets you into!~confusion and unhappiness. Who’s to say that Ms.Beyonce was kept behind closed doors with this information, maybe she has known all along and she still stands by her MAN!! maybe Jay-Z is taking care of his son from day one and Shenelle is well taken care of as the Mother of this child.Tabloids should find truth in stories and live it be. Well the sad thing in this situation is the irony of it, rappers talking about their sad chilhood without a father and here they are perpetuating this nasty cycle of “absentee-fatherhood”. I would just like to say that at that time Jay Z and B did not even have any kind of relationship as far as we know unless they were doing something in secret. So, what ever J and S had was their business at the time. He is only human and S is beautiful, so you can’t blame him. Anyone with two eyes could see if you look at pictures of the boy child that he looks like J, trust me in a place like Trinidad, and considering how pretty S is she would not go with just any random big nosed, big lip guy! am assuming. I say just look at the pictures of the child and you will see what I mean.

If Jay is the father…then Jay will do what he has to do, he is not in a court of law so he neither has to confirm or deny the validity of any of these claims, Shenelle is not out there saying that Jay is denying it either…so what is the problem…what is the hype?
