Does anyone hate Lupe Fiasco as much as me, I personally think he is garbage.
I think Lupe os one of the best things to happen in 06 and I dont really like the Grammeys nominations this year. Just goes to show they dont know to much about it

To Mac T, u obviously don’t know anything about hip-hop. I definitely think that Lupe deserves a grammy for Food & Liquor … doubt he’s gonna win though cuz grammy ’s are too commercial !!!
Now my problem with Lupe is he’s the most gimmicky frikkin rapper since flavor flav; seriously though all he is is a pretentious, self-indulgent, little crap who’s proud of himself for winning a couple of spelling bees as a kid trying to bank off the fact that most rappers out now don’t even know how to use prepositions and go around putting on ridiculous coon shows for cash.The truth is he’s just as image-promoting, money hungry and worthless as the rappers he criticizes.
Every song I’ve heard of his is just about how “different” he is and how he’s ostracized for it and if people liked “real” “conscious” hip-hop they’d like him. . .well, that and that stupid skateboard song. all the while he tries his absolute hardest to sound artsy and existential. Then people buy it cause he uses “big words” and doesn’t have metal teeth. Shoot, I can start smoking crack and still have a bigger vocabulary than Lupe, AND I wear glasses, now what? Too bad your vocabulary is useless unless you can write songs with it; what a waste.
Real art isn’t about trying to make people like you and buy your stuff.Shut up and write some real songs.
