Video: Nas - "Hip-Hop Is Dead"

Monday December 4, 2006
Controversy seems to trail Nas everywhere he goes. The title of his new album has fired up so much strife that the veteran emcee is probably itching to get the release of this album overwith. Here's the controversy-free video for the album's first single, "Hip-Hop Is Dead."

No one is saying that it’s bad. It’s poor, not in quality, but in funds. Just look at Jay’s first video…

great song but i just hate the ending of it…there was no need for that chant and the song just stops so suddenly with those weak drums at the end. All the eneregy in the song is lost because of it. I just listen to the first two verses and then go back to the beginnning.

quiet as it’s kept,it’s so refreshing to hear an emcee, not a rapper spit true hip hop. Makin up these stupid dances like chicken noodle soup and shoulder lean takes away from the game. Long live Nas ansd Ra. Rakim for those that donbt know the culture. Teeo one
