It's probably the only time you'll ever see Jay-Z and J-Kwon on the same list. From mathematical misfires to 'oral fixations' with Bill Clinton, these lyrics will make your ears and eyes hurt so much that even Timbaland would start wondering why you're "talking with your eyes closed." Without further ado, I present to you the 25 worst rap lyrics of all time.

(1) Illmatic620 says:

If defense of foxy brown i think either Cormega or Nas two lyrical geniuses in their own right wrote that terrible lyric.

“Got a Bill in my mouth like I’m Hilary Rodham.”

Yo… i think this is clever he name is Hilary Rodham Clinton incase u didnt know that was her middle name… or are you talking about the mental image it gives u lol

June 22, 2006 at 5:40 pm
(3) Henry says:

With all the hoopla about her potential presidential candidacy, I’m guessing everyone knows who Hilary Rodham Clinton is by now. There are just too many things wrong with that rhyme:
1)It’s not the most creative Bill Clinton punchline.
2)Alluding to that ‘oral sex’ incident is so 90′s;
3)It would have still sounded weak if he had replaced ‘Hilary Rodham’ with ‘Monica Lewinsky’.
4)Or maybe I missed the point entirely. “I got a Bill in my mouth…?” I don’t know…I’m done thinking about this.

June 22, 2006 at 5:42 pm
(4) Henry says:

And oh yeah, Nas wrote that rhyme for Foxxy. Too bad she didn’t double check her lyrics.

June 22, 2006 at 5:42 pm

Y’all niggaz is scared, I’m your worst nightmare squared
Canibus and common:
That’s double for niggaz who ain’t mathematically aware

imagine talkin about stuff they dont even know math lol the song’s still dope tho

About that Canibus song:

There are two emcees, canibus and Common. 2 squared is 4 and 2 times 2 is 4 both of which are twice that of 2. so in this particular instance they were correct…i think that’s what they were trying to get at.

The Foxy line is confusing cause she’s talking about the grams of coke, and then switches to talk about profit. The math actually makes sense if you understand what she’s talking about.

June 10, 2007 at 9:17 am
(35) Stephen says:

Damn and another thing…
“I can double my density from three-sixty degrees to seven-twenty instantly.”

He’s talking about from 2*180 = 360
to 4*180 = 720.

Jesus, it would help to actually think through lyrics.

June 14, 2007 at 3:17 am
(36) jonathan says:

hey stepen in response to your comment

” Damn and another thing…
“I can double my density from three-sixty degrees to seven-twenty instantly.”

He’s talking about from 2*180 = 360
to 4*180 = 720.

Jesus, it would help to actually think through lyrics. ”

maybe it would help you to read through the lyrics and also read the comment which Henry wrote underneath it, where its obvious his talking about the unit used for measurement, and not the math itself. because DENSITY is not measured in degrees, idiot

(41) J says:

That Ali G lyric was not bad, he has a bill in his mouth cuz he has his grill on which cost money. It’s actually a good pun and definitely not deserving of being on here. Secondly, I’m pretty sure Ja Rul misspelled “murder” on one of his songs, pretty sad

(43) Militant says:

16.”Hood n***a from Bankhead, I stay by Grandma Nana I lay by my banana, dumpin’ and punkin’ monkeys.”

That line actually made sense, it’s slang. It basicly means he stays with his gun and shoots people.

November 29, 2008 at 12:35 am
(44) santanna says:

this really needs to make the list

I’m a star, look in the sky, you need a microscope….

from the song why by the da band…diddys group

You thinkin’ lifes a joke, I’ll slice your throat
Oh you a thug, you about to get yo’ rights revoked
I’m from the Dirty, we don’t even know the price of soap
I’m a star, look in the sky, you need a microscope
I’m way ahead of the game, thuggin’ runs in my veins
My pockets chubby, so I went and got a gun in my name
Its just me, him and my blunt in the Range
A young nigga with the filty slang
Ha ha, I hop out like a Jack In The Box
With three macks and a glock
I’m askin’ for nothin’, I’m snatchin’ my props
I’m gettin’ money while I’m laughin’ at cops
It ain’t ya lad, I ain’t bad
It’s the Devil, why don’t you tell’em to stop

(47) Mercedes Lewis says:

I would like to put to rest the Cannibus and Common lyric is very incorrect. Squared is not double double is multiplying by 2 squarted on the other hand is multiplying by the number itself such as 6×6 so before you try to put someone in their place. LEARN MATH

July 29, 2009 at 11:55 am
(48) Rizzel says:

Why do any of you waste your time breaking down these songs? Get a life. The only Rapper/Hip Hop artists who could make goofy lyrics sound good was Ole Dirty Bastard.

(49) Nova says:

Far be it from me to defend Young Turk and his awful lyrics, but I am from New Orleans and I can say that that line mmakes sense in conttext. It’s an accepted fact that in New Orleans, them people is a slang term for the police. Soan his more than likely illegal fire arm would be a reason to be ducking them peoplel.

December 29, 2009 at 11:53 am
(52) 52 says:

The Canibus lyric is incorrect because he is saying that he himself is terror squared, and then says that that means that he himself (singular, not him and common) is double terror. However, Canibus is one MC. 1 squared is still 1. 1 doubled is 2. So, Canibus squared is not the same as Canibus doubled. In fact, Canibus squared is the exact same thing as Canibus. So the lyric is wrong. If he was referring to himself and Common, then yeah, 2 squared is 4, and 2 doubled is 4, so that might work. But the grammar of the line implies he’s only talking about himself.

BUT, more importantly, who cares whether or not these millionaire musicians have brushed up on their arithmetic? They are lyrical geniuses who do what they do well – things might not always add up because they don’t need to. The Canibus line at least is easily understood (and pretty dope) even if it’s not strictly correct. This is music, not math.

January 12, 2010 at 1:25 pm
(53) nico says:

? i dont see how foxxy brown had the worst mathematics.

32/2=16*3=48/4=12-8=4 and 4 per person so multiply 4 * 4 and u get 16?

5.”Thirty-two grams raw, chop it in half, get sixteen, double it times three. We got forty-eight, which mean a whole lot of cream Divide the profit by four, subtract it by eight We back to sixteen…”

February 6, 2010 at 2:43 pm
(54) Bruce says:

Actually, the mathematical line from Canibus and Common IS correct.
They’re 2 people, right? Okay, he’s saying, the terror that they bring, is actually double the amount of terror, by 2.
Squared is the given number, multiplied by the same number(mutiliplying a number by itself), double the amount means to multiply by 2. In BOTH cases, it’s only 2 of them…so the answer, whether doubled, or squared is still FOUR(4). 2×2=4 and 2 squared=4 as well. Half of 2 is four, it still comes down to the fact that; they bring 2 times the amount of horror!
You people try so hard to disprove something, you miss the point that, regardless if it was squared or multiplied by 2, the answer remains the same when the initial number is TWO(2)! Geez!

(55) anonymous says:

They to much, say that any criminal has the right to defend itself, crudely, but the laws stipulate, that when someone commits a crime, those individuals them are no longer free, until they pay for their crimes, a criminal must be convicted, and pay for them crimes, there are many people who believe that a political party, helps a criminal to be free, that Because the political party that is going to help them, to remove from the Federal Archives, who have committed crimes, ¡ no ! that’s not the truth, none any political party, them don’t have the right to absolve of them guilty to any criminal, the politicians do not escape as also, from paying for the crimes, they have committed, as required by laws, because the politicians, them do not own the laws, them are representing, to the laws, as only, the laws also specifies, that any individual does excepts from the laws, there are many public, whom believe, that they are free , But is not the way as it is,, if they committed a crime, the law pursues to criminals, until they pay for those crimes, and they believe it, that as for call out that, that is to be free, not a criminal is not going to be free, them don’t have the right to speak of freedom, until they pay for their crimes.
