CD Review: The Game - Doctor's Advocate

Friday November 17, 2006
The Game attempts to make some dollars without 50 Cent and mentor Dr. Dre on Doctor's Advocate. His new longplayer is undeniably one of the most talked-about albums of 2006. Does it match the hype or is this another frisbee material? See our Doctor's Advocate review for the verdict.

I’m just glad were getting a little break from just cutting up 50 cent. By all means, cut him up all you want but its just annoying now.Its clearly a decent album with some good featuring muscians but what I’m really looking for is some more Dre.

Yo, Henry do u really know what happen.

(7) Henry says:

^I thought you were kidding. Game had beef with 50, so Dre backed out. Game claims he had some Dre tracks but didn’t use it, because he doesn’t want people to credit the success of his new album to Dr. Dre. He’s off Aftermath Entertainment–Dre’s label.

Referencing other hip-hop artists, so-called celebrities, or products. When done appropriately, namedropping is cool, but Game indulges in it. Over 40 Dr. Dre references on one album = boring.

Yeah ok. I thought he over-did it a bit, just didn’t know what it was called. Ty.

(12) Justin says:

The Game is sick with or without Dre. Who even cares about 50 cent, f**k him. He lives in the woods of Connecticut, I would know I used to live a half hour from his house. Game f***ed g-unit up and there is nothing they could do about it. West Coast is back! And if you didn’t know Snoop Dogg is on the same lable as The Game! Keep the heat coming Game!

This is probably one of the best album and i definetly agree on the maturity he has proved himself to be the a west coast idol with or without dre. And this album will be listened to for decades.
