Snoop Dogg Arrested on Gun and Drug Charges
Snoop Dogg's airport dilemma continue. The Dogg Pound rapper was arrested yesterday (October 26) at Bob Hope Airport on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a gun and transportation of marijuana. Authorities stopped Snoop Dogg at about 3:45 p.m. for an alleged vehicle code violation in the passenger loading and unloading zone. Police said they soon discovered a gun and marijuana in the rapper's vehicle.
Snoop was then taken to the Burbank Police Station Jail where he was booked on gun and drug charges, according to reports. Snoop was released on $35,000 bail. Arraignment is scheduled for Monday in Burbank Superior Court.
Last month, Snoop attempted to smuggle a 21" collapsible baton into an airplane last month. The baton was later confiscated by airport authorities and he was allowed to continue his flight. In April, an incident involving Snoop at London's Heathrow airport caused seven police officers to sustain injuries. Consequently, the west coast emcee was banned from future travels on the British Airways airline.
