Top 10 Rap Albums for October 7th, 2006

Nerd-rap fans, you may now rest your case. Chingy's Hoodstar edged out Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor by 12,000 units to clinch the top spot this week. While Chingaling entered the chart at No. 8 with 70,000 scans, Lupe landed outside the Billboard Top 10 with a measly 58,000. Ouch! Peep our Top 10 Rap Albums chart for details.

Update: Lupe recently spoke out against the reports that he only sold 58,000 copies this week, stating that the soundscan figures did not include Best Buy sales.
