Some call it "[S]Hot 97," and if you've been following the slew of fights and shootings that have plagued the so-called premiere hip-hop & R & Beef station, you would understand. In 2005, a member of The Game's entourage was left with a bullet in his gluteus maximus, following an altercation with 50 Cent's entourage outside Hot 97. Earlier this year, a fledgling Brooklyn rapper named Gravy wound up with a bullet in his "rear" as he arrived at the radio station for an interview. With a bullet lodged in his buttocks, Gravy proceeded to sit in for the interview. Butt, controversies aside, Hot 97 has long stamped its mark as the leading rap radio station in the U.S. Check out our Hot 97 profile to learn more about the New York-based station. (Firearms not included.)
