Profile: WQHT FM - Hot 97

Some call it "[S]Hot 97," and if you've been following the slew of fights and shootings that have plagued the so-called premiere hip-hop & R & Beef station, you would understand. In 2005, a member of The Game's entourage was left with a bullet in his gluteus maximus, following an altercation with 50 Cent's entourage outside Hot 97. Earlier this year, a fledgling Brooklyn rapper named Gravy wound up with a bullet in his "rear" as he arrived at the radio station for an interview. With a bullet lodged in his buttocks, Gravy proceeded to sit in for the interview.
