50 Cent Arrested in New York

Since we've already gone through an entire week without a rapper getting arrested, 50 Cent volunteered to ensure that we never run out of quality arrest headlines. MTV.com reports that 50 was smiling as the police cuffed him for making an unsafe lane change earlier today (September 8th) . He was later hauled off to a nearby police station, and his vehicle (a silver Lambourghini) was towed away. At the police station, he was handed four citations: driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance, driving with an expired permit, and making an unsafe lane change. 50 is scheduled to appear in court at an unspecified date.
Update: According to NME.com, 50 Cent has been released from police custody. 50 was reportedly let go after a friend verified that he's the owner of the unregistered silver Lamborghini he was driving at the time of the arrest. (Watch 50 Cent's arrest video.)

Im not really a 50cent fan but hey please stop hatin. The dude is rich anad it you veiwed the arrest video on youtube you’ll see that, that was’nt done to improve his gangster image.
