Eminem Teams Up with NIKE to Help Underprivileged Youths Worldwide

Some positive Eminem news for a change. Marshall Mathers has joined forces with Nike, the world's leading sports company, to help raise funds for the Marshall Mathers Foundation and ninemillion.org. According to a press release signed by Interscope Records and Nike, Eminem will design eight different shoes (64 pairs) in the Air Max series. The shoes will then be auctioned off on eBay over a period of four weeks, starting August 31st, 2006. All 64 pairs will be numbered and autographed by Em. The multi-platinum rapper made his excitement known:
"We're always looking for new ways to try to raise money and awareness for the foundation, so when Nike approached us we jumped at the chance. When we got the info on ninemillion.org, it made even more sense. Who wouldn't want to design their own line of Nikes?
