Hip-Hop Blog Round-up: Beyonce's "Deja Vu" Gets a Bad Rap
Where do we begin, folks?
Hip-hop blogging has been recently overshadowed by hip-hop bloggers brewing assorted flavors of 'beefs', consequently taking up time that should be exerted on pragmatic editorials. Keep in mind that finger-pointing is not a stranger to the genre. In fact, opinionated views have remained peculiar attributes of hip-hop media from the jumpoff.
However, it would be pointless for me to try and aggregate all the boiling brouhahas into one post. But, Ramblings of a Bored Mind does a good job of calling for an end to some unecessary conflicts within the hip-hop blogsphere.
Sumish.com offers some must-read commentary on Jurassic 5's music video for their Dave Matthews-assisted single "Work it Out." The song, which debuted on our Top 10 Rap Songs chart last week, is the first single from Jurassic 5's Feedback album.
Speaking of music videos, Unlimited Chirp weighs in on the debate of whether or not Beyonce's "Deja Vu" video is thematically consistent with the song itself. In case you're wondering, Beyonce's fans recently filed a petition complaining about her erratic and spontaneous dance moves, as well as the "nonexistent sexual chemistry between Ms. Knowles and Mr. Carter" in the video.

fyi i love beyonce’s DEJA VU song
I like B’s song Deja Vu. But the video could have had more oomph to it. Instead of her being on the countryside in the video she could have been in Hollywood or Las Vegas.
