Jay-Z To Commemorate 10th Anniversary of Reasonable Doubt with a Concert
Friday June 9, 2006
'Retired' rap veteran and Def Jam el presidente Jay-Z has announced a June 25th Radio City Hall concert to mark the 10th anniversary of his magnum opus, Reasonable Doubt. While talking to New York Hot 97's Angie Martinez, Jay-Z also revealed that he'll perform all the songs from Reasonable Doubt - his very first album - possibly in the order they appear on the album. "That album will be performed in its entirety for the first time ever," said Hov. "I want the purists to be there. I want people that live the album to be there," he added. Asked whether he'll add a bonus track to the performance, Jay-Z responded that "anything can happen that night."
Reasonable Doubt was released on June 25th, 1996 amidst the on-going rivalry between Suge Knight's Death Row and P.Diddy's Bad Boy Records. Regardless of the east-west animosity that nearly submerged Jay-Z's classic debut, the album reached critical acclaim within several folds. Some of the producers that shaped the album's soundscape were DJ Premier, Ski, Clark Kent, DJ Irv (not to be confused with Irv Gotti). Reasonable Doubt churned 3 Billboard hits: "Can't Knock the Hustle" with Mary J Blige, the laid back gem "Feelin' It," and the Foxy Brown-assisted chart-topper, "Ain't No N***a."

No doubt. But I wonder why he’s making the tickets so expensive though. It’s not like they won’t sell out regardless.
I heard this sold out in 3 minutes!
DJ Irv was Irv Gotti
I believe that DJ Irv was beyond reasonable doubt the same person as Irv Gotti.
