Paris Hilton Readies New Hip-Hop Album?

Tuesday May 30, 2006
No way! Could someone please call 'The Simple Life' star, Paris Hilton, and tell her "No!" "Not hip-hop!" I'm sure if she hears it well enough, she'll rethink her ill-advised decision to dishonor everything hip-hop stands for, and save the rest of us an ear-splitter. The fact that Paris, who is also rumored to be dating 50 Cent, is collaborating with reputable hip-hop artists like Jadakiss and Fat Joe makes the news even more unbearable.

For what it's worth, Paris says her yet-to-be-titled album will be a mix of reggae, pop and hip-hop, with the first single being a reggae song called "Stars Are Blind." "Stars Are Blind" will be released this month by Warner Records and Hilton's label Heiress Records, followed by a full length in September. She'll also release a remake of the Rod Stewart song "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?"

Now, don't think that this is a pro-hip-hop-anti-Paris-Hilton post. I'm only saying this because, while preparing for this post, I desecrated my ears with that nightmarish Paris-Jada-Joe collaboration, "Fighting Over Me." And, from what I'm hearing, she shouldn't even consider doing pop music. Rock-n-roll? No! R & B? No! Raunchy sex tapes with B-rate celebrity flings that'll mysteriously surface on the internet? Nooo!

I don’t have time to list all the problems with this article, I will stick to the 2 main things: 1. Paris Hilton is dating Matt Leinart of USC turn on the tv it’s everywhere she is not dating 50 cent. 2. There is no way to make “hip hop” worse it can’t get any worse. Maybe by having some monkee screech into a microphone while wearing a baseball hat sideways. “Everything hip hop stands for” haha…this isn’t the music of Chopin or rocket science it’s a bunch of music stolen from someone else by some retard in a fubu shirt.

Supposedly, she delayed the album to cover Crazy.

I still haven’t decided how I’d react if someone I know bought this album.

WHY cant celebrities stick to what they are good at? Does EVERYONE have to be a cross-over artist?! Paris Hilton apparently has been beaten with a stupid stick. What makes me want to jump off the roof even more than the fact she has an album coming, is the fact that I KNOW there are people who will buy it.
Excuse me while I go vomit.

Paris Hilton, has absolutely no talent, like her comrads, and sisters’ hideous purse designs,my 2 yr old draws me. A fortune cannot buy you a talented voice,(like mine)but it can buy you clothes. I heard her sing, and can describe it as “pollution to my freakin ears!” This hoe,MUST be stopped from entering the music scene, because like her other “works”,it too will be panned!

I grew up in the Caribbean and am very familiar with reggae – when I heard the song Stars are Blind I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is, but then I realized that it’s a remake of UB40’s Kingston Town. Basically she stole the beat from the song and added really bad lyrics and bad singing and made it all about herself. Come on, can’t anyone be original anymore? If you’re stealing, don’t steal from my culture man…

(15) G Girl1 says:

Paris Hilton is a spoiled little witch. She looks down on anyone that isn’t like her as she has expressed in one of her many stupid home videos. Not only does it show that she has some racial issues but she puts down anyone that is not in her social class (”Poor Public School Bitch”). I would be a fine day to see her lose all her precious money and see how she survives. Let me tell you if she ever had the nerve to say something like that to me, I would knock her on her skinny little a$$ real quick. I don’t know what young hollywood sees in her has a friend. She sleeps with everyones boyfriends and they still hang out with her. They should all form their own click and take the tramp down.

someone said “let her stick at what she’s good at??the reason why she sticks her skinny ass for everyone is because she ain’t good at anything.thats why she puts people down because she cant put herself at without flashing her money…
