One Dead, Three Injured in T.I. Shootout

One person was killed and three others sustained serious injuries in the shooting that ensued T.I. and Yung Joc's show at Cincinnati's Club Ritz Wednesday morning. Authorities witheld the identities of the victims, but rapper T.I. is said to be safe and sound. The shooting began after members of T.I.'s camp allegedly started throwing money into the crowd. Some of the dollar bills landed on the men in the club, who took the gesture as an insult, and started a scuffle. The fight moved outside, as T.I. called on his entourage to exit the venue. Witnesses told the Cincinnati Enquirer that "T.I. was telling his boys, ‘Come on let’s go. Let’s Go.’ And the Cincinnati boys were like, ‘Yea, let’s go.’ ” T.I. and his camp fled Club Ritz in two vans, but the other party fired some shots that injured three people, one of them an unidentified woman, and killed one person rumored to be T.I.'s personal aide. Police shut down I-75, the location of the gun battle, between 3.am and 10:15 a.m. to carry out investigations after they discovered a black van on the highway.
T.I. recently kicked off a nationwide tour to promote his RIAA platinum-certified album, King.
