50 Cent Helps Fight Childhood Obesity

Wednesday April 26, 2006
50 Cent has launched a nationwide cooking contest to help high school kids control obesity. The contest sponsored by Glaceau (the company that sells 50's vitamin drink, formula 50) will award $100,000 in college scholarship to the student chef who creates the most "nutrient-rich" cafeteria lunch recipe. Sounds like a philanthropic move from the man who once spit: "I love you like a fat kid loves cake." Seriously, 50 Cent is like the Eazy-E of this generation as far as being business savvy goes.

^Yup, you’re right. I’m not sure that’s why Curtis stepped up but you can’t hate on him for doing it. Hopefully, more people will follow suit instead of hosting stripping contests.

50 cent sure did come a long way from selling drugs in south side jamaica queens to now giving back to community. He may be a bully on the mic, but he’s doing more than other hip hop people who have alot more money than he does.

Plus it’s a way for his nameto stay in the headlines. (for all the right reasons of course)
