Rhymefest added to Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival

Thursday April 20, 2006
Chicago rapper, Rhymefest, has been added to the 2nd annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. Rhymefest now joins fellow Chicago-an Lupe Fiasco, Big Daddy Kane and others for this year's BHF. The event will take place on June 25th, 2006. 'Fest, whose Blue Collar album is expected to hit stores sometime in July, was obviously excited about performing at the BHF for the second time in a row: “Yo last year was off the chain! Brooklyn really showed me love so this year I’m coming back to bring y’all some of the Windy City’s finest and I got some surprises for y’all this year!! Nothing but that incredible energy and that good music!!,” said Rhymefest.
